5 Pretty Prom Makeup Trends for 2014

1. Bold Lips

Bright lips have been a huge trend for 2013 and 2014. If you didn’t feel right about wearing this fire engine red lips during the day, this is your time! Right now, bright pinks, bold reds, and dark auburns or en vogue (they say orange is the latest hot color but they must be joking). You’ve got to find the right one for your skin tone and that works with your dress.

The extra wing that goes beyond the eyelid is fun, mod, and perfect for prom! You can go for the dramatic and defined cat eye or the more subdued kitten eye.

The key to getting this look right is a steady hand, a little practice, and a super smooth eye liner.
